The Pirin region is rich of beautiful places you can enjoy:
Bansko – more than 120 cultural monuments, museums and ethnographic exhibitions, authentic architecture, and souvenir shops for traditional Bulgarian wood carving and colorful rugs.
The Pirin National Park - preserved flora and fauna species, beautiful lakes, waterfalls and caves.
Melnik – since 1960 it has been a preserved town-museum. Melnik has been well renowned with wine production since the Renaissance. There are 70 wine cellars – There are also the Melnik pyramids – a natural rock phenomenon.
Rozhen monastery - Founded in 1220, only 6 km East of Melnik this is one of the few Bulgarian monasteries that has survived from the Middle Ages to present day. Wall-paintings from 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, unique stained glass and woodcarvings have been preserved in the cloister church.
Sandanski - One of the top spa resorts in Bulgaria. A great combination of mineral springs, healing climate and beautiful nature. Perfect for relaxation or spa treatment.
Dobrinishte – a small scenic village located between Pirin, Rila, and Rodopa mountains. The village is well renowned for its 15 warm mineral springs. There are also excellent conditions for mountain tourism and ski sports in the region. There is the longest ski run of 5 km.
